SSC announces JE and SI in Delhi Police Paper I exam dates at ssc.gov.in, notice

The Staff Selection Commission has released exam dates for two important recruitment tests. The Junior Engineer examination and the Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces examination will both have their Paper I conducted in December 2025. Candidates registered for these exams can view the official schedule on the SSC website. The Junior Engineer test, covering Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines, will take place from December 3 to December 6, 2025. Meanwhile, the Sub-Inspectors examination is scheduled from December 9 to December 12, 2025. Both assessments will be conducted in computer-based mode. The JE exam consists of 100 questions worth 100 marks with a two-hour duration. The SI exam features 200 questions totaling 200 marks, also lasting two hours, with negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers. Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme Details

The Junior Engineer Paper I will be a computer-based test containing 100 questions for 100 marks. Candidates will have two hours to complete the examination. For the Sub-Inspectors exam, the paper includes 200 questions worth 200 marks, also with a two-hour time limit. An important point for SI candidates is the negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in Paper I. Both examinations will be conducted in CBT mode across multiple days to accommodate all registered candidates.
