The National Testing Agency has opened the correction window for the UGC NET December Exam 2025 application forms starting November 10, 2025. Candidates can make specific changes to their submitted applications through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The correction facility, which activated at 10 am, will remain available until November 12, 2025, at 11.50 pm. Applicants can modify limited details including date of birth, category, and parents' names. However, critical information such as candidate's name, gender, photograph, signature, contact details, addresses, and examination city cannot be altered. Any additional fees must be paid online through credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. The UGC NET December 2025 examination is scheduled to be conducted in Computer Based Test mode from December 31 to January 7, 2026, across various centers nationwide. Candidates should visit the official portal for complete information and updates.

Correction Process and Important Guidelines

Candidates need to visit ugcnet.nta.nic.in and click the correction window link on the homepage. After entering login credentials, the application form will appear for modifications. Only specific fields are eligible for correction: date of birth, category, father's name, and mother's name. Important fields like candidate's name, gender, photograph, signature, mobile number, email address, permanent and correspondence addresses, and examination city remain locked and cannot be changed. After making corrections, candidates must pay any applicable additional fees through online payment methods including credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Once payment is completed, candidates should download and save the confirmation page for future reference. The deadline for all corrections is November 12, 2025, at 11.50 pm.
