Axar Patel and Varun Chakaravarthy dismantled the Australian batting lineup, supported by Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar. The hosts collapsed to 119 all out in 18.2 overs. India's Spinners Dominate Australian Batting Lineup

Australia's chase fell apart on a challenging pitch with uneven bounce. The hosts managed a decent start but lost momentum once the ball softened and spinners took control. Axar Patel and Varun Chakaravarthy spun a web around the Australian batsmen, picking up crucial wickets. Shivam Dube removed both Mitchell Marsh and Tim David, delivering match-changing blows. Washington Sundar claimed three quick wickets at the innings' end. Australia were dismissed for 119 in 18.2 overs, recording their second-lowest home Twenty20 International total. This target became the second-lowest successfully defended against Australia on their home soil in this format. Dube's spell of two wickets for 20 runs in two overs proved particularly effective, as he dismissed David for the second consecutive match.
