Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, held a press conference on Wednesday where he presented what he termed the 'H files'. He alleged that the October 2024 Haryana Assembly elections were unfairly taken from the Congress party. Gandhi displayed a photograph of a woman he identified as a Brazilian model, claiming her stock image was misused to cast votes 22 times under different names across 10 polling booths in Haryana's Rai Assembly constituency. His accusations targeted both the ruling BJP and the Election Commission. Shortly after Gandhi's allegations, Mohanlal Badoli, president of Haryana BJP, strongly rejected the claims in an interview with The Indian Express. Badoli dismissed the accusations as completely false and suggested the Congress party itself should explain the identity and actions of the woman mentioned. He characterized the entire episode as a publicity stunt lacking any factual basis.

BJP Leader Dismisses Allegations as Political Stunt
Badoli questioned whether the so-called Brazilian woman was connected to the Congress party, suggesting they must clarify her identity and origin. He stated the Congress should prove their own allegations about what she did. Regarding multiple photographs of individuals appearing repeatedly in voter lists shown by Gandhi, Badoli said the Congress must explain who these people are, implying they might be associated with the party itself. He completely rejected any truth in Gandhi's accusations against the BJP and Election Commission, calling them bundles of lies designed for publicity. Badoli believed people would not be fooled by what he termed Congress political gimmicks. He suggested the timing was deliberate, linked to anticipated Congress losses in Bihar polls, and encouraged verification of all claims made.
