The Prithvi Festival 2025 opened with a grand celebration at the Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai on Sunday, drawing many prominent Bollywood personalities. The annual performing arts festival saw attendance from Saif Ali Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Neena Gupta, Divya Dutta, Zahaan Kapoor, and several others from the film industry. The opening night featured lively moments, including Naseeruddin Shah and Neena Gupta dancing together. Zahaan Kapoor, who serves as a trustee of Prithvi Theatre, was seen engaging with guests and having conversations with his brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan. The festival, which commenced at the iconic Mumbai venue, will run until November 17. This year's theme focuses on celebrating stories, stage, and community through a diverse mix of new plays, film screenings, musical performances, and workshops led by industry veterans like Naseeruddin Shah.
