Ahaan Panday is preparing for his second Bollywood film, an action-romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra. Following the global success of his debut film Saiyaara, which earned over ₹550 crore worldwide, Panday is now undergoing intense physical training for a more demanding role. The upcoming project will be shot primarily in the United Kingdom, with filming scheduled to begin in February 2026. Director Ali Abbas Zafar plans a month-long location scouting trip across London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds starting in December. Approximately 80 to 90 per cent of the movie will be filmed in England. The film will also feature actress Sharvari in the lead role. Panday has already revealed a new rugged look for the character, signaling a departure from his romantic debut persona. This collaboration marks another partnership between Zafar and Chopra, who previously worked together on successful films.
UK Shoot and Director's Vision for Action-Romance
Director Ali Abbas Zafar will travel to the UK in December 2025 for an extensive location recce spanning London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds. The majority of the film will be captured in England, with shooting commencing in February 2026. According to sources, the impressive box office performance of Saiyaara has given the filmmakers confidence to invest heavily in this project. Ali Abbas Zafar, known for blending drama with action in films like Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, aims to showcase Panday as an action-romance star. The actor is currently training in hand-to-hand combat and weapon handling to prepare for the physically intense role, moving away from his devoted romantic hero image.
