Ahaan Panday, who gained recognition after the success of Saiyaara directed by Mohit Suri, is preparing for his second Bollywood project. The upcoming film is an action-romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra. This collaboration marks another venture for the duo, who have previously worked together on films like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai. The movie will feature Sharvari as the female lead. Director Ali Abbas Zafar is scheduled to travel to the UK in December for location scouting, with filming expected to begin in February 2026. Ahaan is already undergoing intensive physical training, including hand-to-hand combat and weapon training, to prepare for this demanding role. The film represents a shift from his romantic debut, positioning him as an action-romance star. Most of the shooting will take place across various cities in England.
UK Shoot and Production Details
Director Ali Abbas Zafar will head to the UK in December for a month-long location scouting trip before production starts in February 2026. The recce will cover cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds. Sources indicate that approximately 80 to 90 per cent of the movie will be filmed in England. The locations are being carefully selected to enhance the storytelling on screen. Following the global success of Saiyaara, which earned over 550 crore rupees, the makers have gained confidence to invest significantly in this project. Ahaan has already revealed a new rugged look for the film, showing a transformation from his previous romantic role to a more action-oriented character.
