Morkel Updates on Reddy’s Fitness Ahead of Crucial Match

2 min read

India's bowling coach Morne Morkel has kept fans guessing about the availability of all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy for the fourth T20I against Australia. Reddy, who has been sidelined due to a neck spasm, completed all required tasks during practice sessions, including fielding, batting, and bowling. A final decision on his participation will be made after a thorough assessment. The 22-year-old has faced a difficult tour, initially drafted as a replacement for injured Hardik Pandya, then suffering a left quadriceps injury during the Adelaide ODI. Just as he was recovering, neck spasms struck before the Canberra T20I, further delaying his return. The five-match T20I series is currently tied at 1-1 after three matches. The crucial fourth T20I is scheduled for Thursday, November 6 at Carrara Oval in Queensland, where the winner will take a decisive series lead.
