Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi addressed election rallies in Bihar's Champaran region, criticizing the current government's policies. Speaking at Chanpatiya in Bettiah and Valmiki Nagar, she drew parallels between the historical freedom struggle that began in Champaran and present-day challenges. She accused the government of favouring wealthy industrialists while ignoring farmers and common people. Priyanka questioned the treatment of Bihar's residents and highlighted issues of unemployment, rising prices, and loan waivers for big businessmen. She criticized the state government for being powerless and claimed that decisions are made from Delhi. Priyanka also accused local leaders of corruption and called for political change. She emphasized the need for people to recognize their power and vote for a government that works for their development. The rallies focused on farmer distress, unemployment, and economic inequality.

Criticizes Government Policies and Corruption
At the Chanpatiya rally, Priyanka Gandhi stated that 20 years of governance have only taught people to struggle. She claimed that everything has become expensive under the current administration. Farmers take loans and struggle to repay with interest, but loans worth thousands of crores to wealthy businessmen like Ambani and Adani get waived. She mentioned local leaders joking about a politician named Makan Singh, saying such names reflect their work of looting people to build mansions. She stated that many similar leaders exist who exploit citizens. Priyanka called for changing such a government. She also criticized the Prime Minister for not focusing on employment but instead worrying about poster sizes of opposition leaders. She accused the government of handing over national industries to two friends instead of creating jobs.
