Lakhisarai district in Bihar is set for assembly elections on 6 November. Voting will take place across two constituencies: Lakhisarai and Suryagadha. The Lakhisarai assembly seat will allow voters to cast their ballots from 7 AM to 5 PM. In Suryagadha, urban areas follow the same timing, but naxal-affected zones will close polling at 4 PM under tight security. District Magistrate and Returning Officer Mithilesh Kumar Mishra has completed all arrangements. Sector officers and polling staff have received vehicles and Electronic Voting Machines from Gandhi Maidan. Nearly 7.5 lakh voters are eligible across both seats. Lakhisarai has 904 polling stations with 3,89,624 voters, while Suryagadha has 436 stations serving 3,55,834 voters. The Election Commission has established 11 checkposts and issued helpline number 1950 to ensure free and fair elections. Campaign activities ceased on schedule, increasing candidate anxiety.
