Actor Govinda has publicly apologised for comments his wife Sunita Ahuja made about their family priest during a recent podcast appearance. In a video statement shared on Instagram Stories, Govinda strongly condemned her remarks and expressed deep respect for Pandit Mukesh Shukla, who has supported the family through difficult times. Sunita had appeared on Paras Chaabra's podcast where she criticised their priest, calling him fake and accusing him of demanding large sums for rituals. She also expressed frustration about people around Govinda, claiming they give him poor advice and turn him against her. The public disagreement comes amid ongoing rumours about trouble in their marriage. Govinda and Sunita married in March 1987 and kept their relationship private for years. They have two children, daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardhan Ahuja, who is preparing for his Bollywood debut.
