Police in Khagaria district conducted raids in Usri village ahead of the assembly elections, recovering a total of ten lakh rupees, a country-made firearm, and three live cartridges. The operation was carried out by a joint team of Gogri police station and district police under the supervision of Khagaria SP Rakesh Kumar. During the search at Anil Yadav's residence, officers found one lakh rupees in cash along with weapons. Two individuals, Vivekanand Yadav and Vibhuti Yadav, were detained from the premises. In a separate search at neighbor Sunil Yadav's house, police recovered nine lakh rupees in cash. None of the individuals could provide satisfactory documents or valid explanations for the recovered money and weapons. A case has been registered at Gogri police station, and strict enforcement of the election code of conduct is underway. Local residents have responded positively to police vigilance during the election period.

Cash and Weapons Seized from Multiple Houses
The joint police team raided Anil Yadav's house in Usri village, where they discovered one lakh rupees in cash, one country-made pistol, and three live cartridges. Vivekanand Yadav and Vibhuti Yadav, who were sleeping inside, were taken into custody. Station House Officer Tarun Kumar Pandey stated that during interrogation, neither person could provide satisfactory answers or valid documents regarding the cash and weapons. Case number 287/25 was registered at Gogri police station. Vivekanand Yadav was sent to jail, while Vibhuti Yadav was released on a personal recognizance bond following instructions from senior officers. Additionally, police searched the nearby residence of Sunil Yadav and recovered nine lakh rupees. He too failed to produce legitimate documentation for the money and was released on bond after questioning.
