Vijay Sethupathi has shared his excitement and gratitude as his son Surya prepares for his debut film Phoenix. The renowned Tamil cinema actor praised director Anal Arasu Master for providing this opportunity to Surya. Sethupathi recalled meeting the director during the shoot of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, where Anal Arasu Master narrated the story and proposed casting Surya. The proud father expressed happiness after watching the film, calling it a wonderful beginning for his son. Surya, who has harbored dreams of acting in action films since childhood, will finally see his wish fulfilled. Sethupathi thanked both director Anal Arasu Master and producer Rajalakshmi for making his son's dream a reality. Phoenix combines action with emotion, and the actor believes such emotional storytelling resonates across languages. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 7. Sethupathi also mentioned his involvement in a Puri Jagannath project where he plans to learn Telugu.
