Speaking about working with Siddharth Anand, Shah Rukh Khan expressed deep admiration for the director's organized approach and aesthetic sensibility. He revealed that he learned how to portray an action hero properly while filming Pathaan, despite having done action films before. The superstar acknowledged that Siddharth's guidance helped him understand the nuances of playing a massy hero, something he hadn't explored much except in Karan Arjun in 1995. Shah Rukh emphasized that the director creates visually beautiful films and that their collaboration, spanning 2-3 years, has evolved into a friendship.
