IIM Sambalpur recently conducted an immersion event celebrating India's first dual-degree programmes in management education. The institute launched two innovative courses: an Executive PhD and DBA programme in partnership with IAE Bordeaux University School of Management, France, and an MBA Fintech Management programme with Sorbonne Business School, France. These initiatives target working professionals seeking advanced education without interrupting their careers. The Executive PhD and DBA programme enrolled 21 participants in its first batch (2024-27), including senior leaders from organizations like Indian Police Services, Google, NTT DATA, and Adani Group. The second batch (2025-28) welcomed 24 professionals from Cognizant, Amazon, Accenture, and National Bank of Oman. The MBA Fintech Management batch comprises 10 professionals from companies including EY India, Infosys, and Amazon. The event featured distinguished guests from India and France, highlighting global collaboration in management education.

The second batch enrolled 24 participants from Cognizant, Amazon, Accenture, National Bank of Oman, and Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, serving as CEOs, Directors, and Vice Presidents. The MBA Fintech Management programme attracted 10 working professionals from top corporations like EY India LLP, Infosys, and Amazon, occupying roles such as CFO, Associate Director, and Global Senior Manager.
