The duo appeared together briefly in Saathiya (2002), shared a memorable moment in the Deewangi Deewangi song from Om Shanti Om (2007), and Tabu had a fleeting cameo in Main Hoon Na (2004). However, no complete film featuring both stars has materialized. In an interview with Galatta India, Tabu clarified that as an actor, she has no control over casting or production decisions. She can only respond to offers presented to her. While acknowledging that she and Shah Rukh have both declined various projects over the years, their paths simply never aligned for a joint venture. Tabu expressed appreciation for fans wanting to see them together, keeping hope alive for a future collaboration. Currently, Shah Rukh is preparing for King alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, while Tabu will appear in Bhooth Bangla with Akshay Kumar.
