The romantic comedy starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday has received a new theatrical release date. Originally scheduled for Valentine's Day 2026, the film will now arrive much earlier during the festive season. The makers announced on Monday that the movie will hit cinemas on December 25, 2025, coinciding with Christmas. This change follows the postponement of another major release that was previously slated for the same date. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the project is presented by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. It is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. This marks the first collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar. Vidwans previously worked with Kartik on the 2023 romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha, which also featured Kiara Advani. A new poster was released alongside the announcement showing Ananya holding Kartik's shoulders while smiling.

The film will now release on December 25, 2025, instead of the originally planned Valentine's Day 2026. Kartik Aaryan shared the news on his Instagram account, writing about his Christmas arrival. The release date was moved forward after Alia Bhatt's action thriller Alpha was delayed from its Christmas Day slot to April 17, 2026. Yash Raj Films postponed Alpha to allow more time for visual effects work. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the romantic comedy is presented by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures.
