Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced plans to introduce a single entrance examination for government job recruitment across the state, modeled after the UPSC system. This decision aims to streamline the hiring process, which currently faces delays due to multiple separate examinations conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC). The state government is particularly focused on filling over 20,000 vacant positions in the police department within the next three years. Additionally, a commission led by a retired senior official will be established to resolve pay anomalies and review grade pay changes. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of timely promotions for employees and officers. Meanwhile, registration for the Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test (MP SET 2025) is currently open, with applications accepted from October 25 to November 20, 2025. The exam comprises three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interviews.
