India's women's cricket team created history by winning their first-ever ICC Women's World Cup title after defeating South Africa by 52 runs in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, November 2. The team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, posted 298 runs in 50 overs, with significant contributions from Shafali Verma and Deepti Sharma. Despite Laura Wolvaardt's century for South Africa, Deepti's five-wicket haul secured victory for India. Reports suggest each player and head coach Amol Muzumdar may receive between INR 2.5 to 3 crore.
