SaralnamaPolice have achieved significant success under the "Operation Conviction" and "Mission Shakti 5.0" campaigns being run to curb crimes against women in the Meerut zone. DIG Kalanidhi Naithani informed that in the year 2025 so far, 284 accused have been convicted in 215 cases related to crimes against women. These crimes include serious cases such as dowry death, rape, molestation and POCSO. According to DIG Naithani, effective advocacy was carried out from to through coordination between the district police, monitoring cell and prosecution department of the zone. As a result of this, convictions were secured in these cases from the courts. Under the "Mission Shakti 5.0" campaign, accused have been convicted in 28 cases in the last month alone.
