Voter List Manipulation Probe Expands in KarnatakaSaralnama

The Karnataka police investigation into voter list manipulation has expanded beyond Aland constituency. The Special Investigation Team found a data centre may have altered voter lists in at least two other seats in Kalaburagi district. BJP leaders reportedly approached the centre for its services. In one Gulbarga city seat, up to 35,000 voter names, mainly minorities, were allegedly manipulated. Funds were transferred through a Kalaburagi accountant to the data centre operators. The probe found key evidence in the Aland case, but lacks mandate to investigate other Kalaburagi seats. Congress leaders claim this proves BJP's 'vote chori' allegations.
