RGV Reveals Why He Cast Ajay Devgn Over SRK in 'Company'Saralnama

Ram Gopal Varma initially offered the role of N Mallik in 'Company' to Shah Rukh Khan. After one meeting, RGV felt SRK's energetic style didn't suit the subtle character. He then cast Ajay Devgn, believing his calm demeanor was perfect. RGV also wanted Abhishek Bachchan for Chandru's role but chose newcomer Vivek Oberoi due to scheduling conflicts.
