The Bandana festival, also known as Goru Khuntan, was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Chandil subdivision of Saraikela, Jharkhand. Farmers decorated their bulls and buffaloes with colorful paints and tied them to wooden posts. The animals were then made to dance according to traditional customs.
