Munger: Big Kali Idol Immersed by 32 Kahars for First Time

Attention students! The big Kali Maharani idol was immersed late night in Munger. For the first time, 32 kahars carried the idol on their shoulders. The immersion procession started at 7 AM on Wednesday after aarti at the temple. It passed through Argada Road, Kasim Bazar, and other areas before reaching Sozhi Ghat. Devotees chanted slogans for Maa Kali throughout. The idol has been installed for about 200 years. Other idols were immersed after the big Kali idol as per tradition.
