Jhalawar police in Rajasthan uncovered a major interstate cyber gang. The gang targeted poor farmers and pensioners, defrauding government schemes. Police arrested 30 suspects, including mastermind Ramavatar Saini. They seized ₹52.69 lakh cash, 14 luxury cars, 35 laptops and computers, and hundreds of bank and ID documents. Saini used his knowledge of government portals to create fake beneficiaries and transfer funds from schemes like PM-KISAN. The 70-hour operation involved 70 police teams across Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. A special SIT is investigating the case, with State Bank of India experts analyzing the financial trail.
