Saralnama, a couple was injured in a land dispute in Manikpur Pakri village, Lalganj. Rupa Kumari filed a complaint against her brother-in-law Vibhishan Das and his wife for assault. The accused threw dirty water on the path near Rupa's house. When she objected, they attacked her with sticks, bricks, and iron rods. Vibhishan hit her head with a brick. They dragged her out and beat her feet. Rupa's husband was also attacked when he tried to help. The couple sought medical treatment with local help.
