Three IPS Officers Among Inmates in Burail Jail

Burail Jail in Chandigarh houses three IPS officers. DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, arrested by CBI on for demanding ₹8 lakh bribe, spent his first night in the old barrack. He joins former IG Zahur Zaidi, serving life sentence for custodial death, and ex-AIG Malvinder Singh Sidhu, held for murdering his son-in-law. The old barrack houses inmates around 50 years old with good behavior. Bhullar, used to luxury, struggled to sleep on a floor mattress. Seven other inmates offered support.
