SBSP to Contest 153 Seats in Bihar Assembly ElectionsSaralnama

The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) announced it will field candidates in 153 of 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly elections this November. SBSP president Om Prakash Rajbhar said they would withdraw if BJP allots them 3-4 seats. He claimed the Bihar BJP denied them space fearing SBSP's potential win. SBSP aims to expand its influence, targeting OBC groups like Rajbhar and Rajwar. The party held about 60 public meetings in Bihar over the past few years. Rajbhar stated this move won't affect their alliance with BJP in Uttar Pradesh. In 2020, SBSP allied with BSP and AIMIM but failed to win any seats in Bihar.
