Lucknow Contractors Protest Unpaid Dues at Municipal Office

Lucknow Municipal Corporation Contract Association held a protest at the municipal headquarters. Contractors demonstrated outside Municipal Commissioner Gaurav Kumar's office from 11 am. They demanded payment for 300 contractors, claiming only 100 were paid during 22-. Protesters cited Diwali expenses and pending dues since 2016. Association Secretary Mukesh Kumar Pandey said they received only assurances despite repeated requests. Letters were sent to the Commissioner and Mayor Sushma Kharkwal.
