September 28, 2025, Sikkim — Medhavi Skills University has issued a public notice clarifying that it has fully complied with all University Grants Commission requirements regarding Public Self-Disclosure documentation and submission.
The university informed all stakeholders, including students, parents, and the general public, that it has met every requirement of the UGC regarding uploading of its Public Self-Disclosure details.
The Public Self-Disclosure details were duly uploaded on the official website (www.msu.edu.in) and formally submitted to UGC on May 20, 2025. Additionally, all required information under Section 13 of the UGC Act has also been submitted properly.
The university assured students, parents, and the public that this is part of the routine regulatory mechanism of UGC. The temporary inclusion of MSU’s name in a recent list does not affect the credibility, recognition, or functioning of the university in any way.
MSU has also cross-verified with UGC officials, who have acknowledged receipt of all documentation. Accordingly, in the forthcoming list, the name of Medhavi Skills University will not be reflected, the notice stated.
The university remains firmly committed to all UGC rules and regulations, upholding the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and governance in its operations.

Medhavi Skills University was established under the MSU, Sikkim Act, 2021. It operates campuses in Singtam and Bermiok, offering skill-based education programs to students across the region.
