Pune, September 28 – Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will confer 98,821 degrees at its 126th Convocation Ceremony scheduled for September 29 at 11:30 AM.
The event will take place at the Swarajyarakshak Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Auditorium, Iravati Karve Social Sciences Complex. Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil and Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chair of NETF and NAAC, will grace the occasion.
Breakdown of awards includes 78,609 undergraduate, 19,577 postgraduate, 270 diplomas, 103 PG diplomas, 259 PhDs, and 3 MPhil degrees. In addition, 89 gold medals will be presented to 54 students, with the science faculty leading medal counts.
