UPSC Centenary: Chairman Ajay Kumar to Hold First Virtual Town Hall on October 1, Aspirants Can Send Questions Till September 30

New Delhi, September 26: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will mark its centenary year with a virtual town hall hosted by Chairman Ajay Kumar.

For the first time, the UPSC chief will interact directly with aspirants. The event will be streamed live on DD News YouTube channel on October 1, 2025, from 12 noon to 1 pm.

This special programme will launch UPSC’s centenary celebrations, which will run from October 1, 2025, to October 1, 2026 across India.

How to Send Questions

Candidates and stakeholders can submit questions between September 28 and September 30 (till 10 am) via email at interactwithupsc@gmail.com.

Questions may be sent in text or video format. During the live broadcast, participants can also post queries on X, Facebook, Instagram using #AskChairmanUPSC.

Focus of the Interaction

The town hall will cover examination process, reforms, and new initiatives, giving aspirants an opportunity to directly engage with the UPSC leadership.

Ajay Kumar said this is a unique chance for civil services aspirants to understand the Commission’s vision and share their concerns with the Chairman.

UPSC Role

UPSC conducts several national-level exams every year. The most prominent is the Civil Services Examination, which selects officers for IAS, IPS, IFS, and other central services.

The centenary town hall marks a historic step in UPSC’s journey, aiming to make the institution more transparent, interactive, and aspirant-friendly.
