Noida, September 25, 2025: The upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, set to open on October 30, 2025, will soon be connected with metro, expressway and bus networks, providing a major relief to passengers across Delhi-NCR and nearby states. Spread over 5,845 hectares with six runways and four terminals, the airport will become India’s largest and Asia’s fourth-largest airport once fully operational, handling nearly 7 crore passengers annually.
Metro and Expressway Connectivity
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is constructing a 74-km metro corridor linking Jewar Airport with Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. The corridor will include elevated and underground stretches via Knowledge Park, Greater Noida and Noida’s Yamuna Bank station, with trains running at a top speed of 120 km/h.
For road connectivity, a 750-metre elevated road costing around ₹50 crore will link the airport to the Yamuna Expressway. In addition, a 31-km link road will connect to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, while access will also be provided through the DND-KMP Expressway.
Bus Service and Local Routes
To ensure smooth travel, three dedicated bus routes will operate from Jewar Airport:

Airport to Pari Chowk, Greater Noida (42 km)

Rabupura to Botanical Garden, Noida Sector-37 (57 km)

YEIDA region to Bhangel via Dankaur and Sector-17 (51 km)
Initial Flight Operations
In the first phase, flights will connect Jewar Airport directly to Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ahmedabad and Jaipur. Gradually, more destinations will be added.
Officials said the new airport will not only ease passenger load from Delhi’s IGI Airport but also boost trade and travel for residents of Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Agra, Faridabad and nearby districts.
