New Delhi, September 25: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched 14 new Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) for teachers across its affiliated schools, focusing on modern pedagogy, competency-based assessments, and digital learning tools.
The programmes cover subjects including Science, Mathematics, English, Social Science, and Artificial Intelligence. Training will be conducted in both online and offline modes to reach more teachers.
According to CBSE officials, the move is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasises teacher training as a cornerstone of reform. Education experts said the initiative will help improve learning outcomes in CBSE schools across India.
