Kolkata, September 25: West Bengal CAP Admissions 2025: The Centralized Admission Portal (CAP) for undergraduate courses in West Bengal has concluded with 2,69,777 admissions, leaving a large number of seats vacant across 460 colleges and 17 universities. Out of 4.02 lakh seats allotted in the first phase, 2.3 lakh students took admission, while the second phase saw only 39,073 candidates enrolling despite portal reopening. With 9.4 lakh UG seats available statewide, West Bengal still has a considerable number of vacancies requiring intervention.
