SBI Scholarship to Support 23,000 Students with ₹90 Crore Aid

Sep 22, 2025, New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI), through its foundation, has launched the Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship 2025. The scheme aims to support over 23,000 meritorious but underprivileged students pursuing higher education.

With a budget of ₹90 crore, the program will cover tuition and other costs. Officials said applications will be opened online and selections made based on merit and family income levels.

Student groups welcomed the move, saying it will reduce dropout rates and help youth from small towns access better colleges.
