Today, the focus is on certificates and degrees. From next year, subjects like coding, drone technology, and AI may be introduced. Until now, skill education was optional. Next, it will become a formal subject from Class 6 onwards. Pradhan aims to train youngsters in this new curriculum structure. He also praised IIT Madras for admitting talented students from sports and music backgrounds.
