September 22, 2025, Dankaur: Kisan Ekta Sangh will stage a gherao (siege) of Surajpur Collectorate on September 25 to demand withdrawal of false cases filed against farmers, the organization announced during a meeting in Usmanpur village on Sunday.
The meeting was conducted under the leadership of National President Chaudhary Soran Pradhan, with Nisar Khan presiding and State President Pramod Sharma facilitating the proceedings. The organization decided to launch a mass movement demanding justice for farmers facing legal harassment.
“This movement will continue until farmers’ demands are fulfilled. This mahapanchayat is a fight for farmers’ rights and we will win it at any cost,” declared National President Chaudhary Soran Pradhan during the village gathering.
National Vice President (Youth) Vikram Nagar explained that the protest specifically targets the withdrawal of false cases filed against farmers. The organization plans to reach every village and appeal to maximum people to join this mahapanchayat movement.

The meeting also witnessed organizational expansion with Asif Ali appointed as State Secretary. Dozens of new workers were inducted into tehsil and gram units, with all newly appointed office bearers taking oath to work honestly for the organization.
Village-to-village campaigns will be launched to mobilize maximum participation in the September 25 collectorate gherao. The organization emphasizes this as a peaceful democratic protest to highlight farmers’ legitimate concerns and legal issues.
Prominent attendees included Deshraj Nagar, Mohan Pal Nagar, Krishna Bansla, Narendra Nagar, Asif Pradhan, Bhupendra Nagar, Shaukat Ali Chechi, Ummed Advocate, JP Nagar, Jora Bhati, Durgesh Sharma, and several other activists committed to farmers’ welfare.
