NOTICE: The Centre is analyzing data to explore conducting NEET-UG exam in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The study aims to understand if CBT will disadvantage any students and assess existing infrastructure. In 2025, over 22 lakh candidates took NEET-UG for 1,08,000 MBBS seats. The exam also determines admissions for Dentistry, Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha courses. This move follows last year's paper leak controversy. A panel led by former ISRO Chief R Radhakrishnan suggested multi-stage testing for NEET-UG. The Centre will discuss findings with the health ministry before deciding.
