Kiran More Frontrunner for BCCI President RoleSaralnama

70-year-old Roger Binny resigned as BCCI President. Former Indian wicketkeeper Kiran More is now the top choice to replace him. BCCI approached ex-cricketers from West Zone, but More is favored by state associations. Born in 1962, More played 49 Tests and 94 ODIs for India. He was part of Asia Cup-winning teams in 1988 and 1991. More has experience in cricket administration and coaching. He was BCCI's Chairman of Selectors and worked with Mumbai Indians in IPL. In 2019, he became Director of Cricket for USA Cricket. BCCI elections, set for, may not happen this year. If all agree, More could be appointed without a formal election. His leadership could be important as India hosts the 2026 T20 World Cup. (Updated 13 Sep 2025, 00:01 IST; source: link)
